LESS creating a series of classes with looping/recursion - 1/30/2014

Recently, I have been trying to get up to speed on the most useful web tools. Traditionally, I have been mostly a plumber focusing on server side stuff, and doing web sites using ASP.NET Web Forms, and ASP.NET MVC (which is what this site is built with). I have decided to get current on web best practices and have decided I really like LESS, Bootstrap, and jQuery. (I am going to learn Angular as well). As I struggle to get up to speed, sometimes I hit perplexing bits, and when I do, I`ll pass them on. Here is one.

One unhappy note is that for users of Visual Studio 2012 with Web Essentials is that while web essentials does a great job of saving the LESS into CSS and minified CSS, the syntax editor flags much of the LESS code in this example as being in error when it is not. Not sure if this is VS or WE doing it
