Ingrediants

Dry Team

  • [3] cups all-purpose flour
  • [1/2] cup white sugar
  • [5] teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
  • [1/2] teaspoon salt

Wet Team

  • [3/4] cup butter (1 + 1/2 Stick) unsalted
  • [1] egg, beaten
  • [1] cup milk or cream (or any mix thereof)

Optional

  • [1 cup] of dried fruit (Good choices are raisins, cranberries, or cherries)

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees f
  • Use two cookie sheets with silicone backing mats
  • Whisk dry ingredients together
  • Fold in wet ingredients after mixing
  • Fold in any nice add-ins such as dried fruit
  • Split up dough into two even parts
  • Take each piece and flatten into a circle
  • Cut each circle into 8 pieces
  • Separate pieces on sheet
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and tasty
